Game on! |
Painting Table Saturday is now officially over-the-hill at 51. To celebrate, here is some wargaming terrain I made this week. Suitable for Warhammer, Lord of the Rings, or any tabletop game involving miniatures really. Thanks goes to
+Chaos Convergence for inspiring me with his latest terrain creations.
I kept this really simple. Ordinary packing polystyrene, ancient CDs, acrylic paint. Sand came from the local sandpit. The flock and tree you can get from any good hobby store. However, I picked these up in an
amazing online auction last year. It was a lot of fun to make and I'm very happy with the results.
Nice and simple. Sometimes those are the terain pieces that get used the most because of their versatility. They look great too.
ReplyDeleteGreat work ! Simple to do and awesome result ! My compliments to your helpers :)

Very nice! I love the use of the CDs ... I've been thinking of basing Jeremy's Safari Ltd monsters - for large scale SBH - and that idea will, I'm sure, do the trick ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely scenery - very satisfying effect from basic materials! My helpers have all grown up now - make the most of them whilst you can!
ReplyDeleteThey do look great! They appear simple enough to create too - must give it a try. Glad to put old CD's to good use too.
