Fellowship of the Miniatures Painting Challenge 2016

Wood Elf Sentinal 
My entry for the 2016 Fellowship of the Miniatures painting challenge, Red Widow the Elven Sentinal.

I began painting this miniature with a mind to enter a female character that wasn't one of the obvious ones from the books or movies. I then decided I would go a step further and create my own character based on the female Wood Elf Sentinal miniature.

    Thanks Roy. I may have gone a bridge too far with the cloak. I think it may have looked better before the design. I am happy with the overall result though. She certainly looks like a special character.
